If your article were rejected, ring up the editor. First fix up an appointment with him. Request him to kindly point out as to why he rejected my article. If he gives logical explanation and points out glaring lapses in your work, thank him. Read your article twice or thrice and try to fill the gaps. After filling take it to him for a second opinion. If he is still unhappy with your work, you should note down the editor’s views and think deeply before attempting the next article. You should not stop writing articles because maiden article was rejected. You should try that possibility also without giving up hope.

English need not be introduced as a compulsory medium of instruction in all schools. The notion that students can acquire knowledge and also develop their personality by studying through English medium is baseless. Majority of the statesman, scientists, mathematical wizards and great social workers and philosophers have not studied in English medium. Still their contributions are appreciated all over the world. It is adequate if English continues as a second language in schools. Realizing its importance, teachers of English should help the children in not only learning English but also acquiring sufficient communicative skills.

Many people worry unnecessarily over paying tips. With a little common sense and wise judgment, one can assess the fair amount that can be given. Usually ten percent of the bill is given to the waiters in hotels and assistants in hair dressing establishments. In case of two waiters, the amount is shared. Wild animals are a part of the wealth of a nation. There are many kinds of wild animals in our country. We should protect the forests to preserve ecological balance. Forests are the source for train. Since forests are destroyed for the habitation of human being, for fuel and for setting up of factories wild animals are denied of homes. Moreover they are hunted for food and other purposes. Though they kill one another, there will be a balance of plants and animals. Government has set up many wild life sanctuaries in many parts of the country. Such sanctuaries serve as a beautiful shelter for them. All over the world, having understood the importance of wild life, several agencies are trying to preserve wild life.
